Welcome to the Summer 2007 edition of Creative Impact Group's newsletter. Happy Summer to all! While we all celebrate the new season, we also embrace the series of events that are in full planning at this time, including annual incentive meetings, trade shows, sales meetings, and, of course, company picnics, which should be planned in full by now with the venue selected, etc.
It's important to book your inflatables early, too, as they go fast! CIG has many new inflatables this year, including our new H2O water splash. We also have brand new sumo wrestling suits!!
The first half of 2007 has been filled with a host of highly entertaining and successful corporate events including:
Murder mysteries, comedy impressionists, impersonators, walk-around magicians, jazz trios, caricature artists, and more...
... a holiday murder mystery at Raffi's in Naperville
... a Hollywood themed employee event for an insurance agency at Joe's Crab and Steak House where comedy impressionist Frank Pisani entertained guests with his celebrity impressions and even got guests to participate in a sing-along to Dean Martin's "That's Amore"
...a Mardi Gras themed event where we booked a "Cher" female impersonator and walk-around pickpocket/magician Tom Tremont for Duchossois Industries at Gibson's Restaurant in Rosemont, IL.
...a jazz band and two caricature artists at McCormick Place/Lakeside Center for the American Chemical Society on March 25th
One of our most recent successes involves two events we produced for PLMA (the Private Label Manufacturers Association). On two separate evenings, we transformed the ballroom where they were holding their meetings into two entirely different themed evenings of entertainment!
One night we did "Ports of Call". Guests entered through the hull of a cruise ship and were blown away as they "traveled" to Acapulco, the Bahamas, Hong Kong, etc. Each port of call was created through extensive décor and lighting with food selections located at each port. A multi-faceted band played, as the guests dined at tables with nautical linens and innovative lighthouse centerpieces with twinkling votives.

The second evening, the guests entered through "Caruso's Restaurant", where they were transported to Italy. Again, the guests were astonished to see the beautifully decorated ballroom, which only hours before was a business meeting space! An added treat was the surprise appearance of the "Three Waiters", who burst into song at various times during the evening culminating in a standing ovation finale!
| MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT is always a hit at any special event! |
| ...We provided The New Invaders (a 60's band) at the Michigan Shores Country Club in Wilmette, IL at a fund-raising event February 24th for Literature for All of Us (an organization which funds books and other educational opportunities for underprivileged children). |

Many of our corporate clients look for team-building activities and décor to enhance their meetings! ....We provided a banner, signage, mini stress football giveaways, balloons, a football toss game and football sports crowd scenic backdrop to enhance Unilever's March 1st "Souper Bowl" meeting at the Hilton Suites -- a team-building meeting for Unilever representatives which included a trivia game which reinforced marketing information on the new soup products being sold at their new franchise outlets in malls.
INTERACTIVE GAMES on trade show floor:
Why not consider interactive games on your trade show floor? ... For the Building Service Contractors' Association (BSCAI) trade show floor, we provided interactive games (Golf Putting Challenge, Baseball Speed Kick, Soccer Speed Kick) April 14 and 15 at McCormick Place/Lakeside Center.

We also provided 4 hostesses at the Chicago Dental Show in February, two hostesses at the Thomas P. Hinman show in March in Atlanta, hostesses for the FMI show May 6-8, and narrators and hostesses at the NXTcomm show May 22-24 at McCormick Place.

Bahai House of Worship was among the Seven Wonders of Illinois revealed by Governor Rod Blagojevich and the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, Illinois Bureau of Tourism (DCEO/IBOT) on its website, www.enjoyillinois.com.
